Agricultural genomics or Agrigenomics is shaping the way agriculture researchers overcome the challenges faced to maintain the food supply in the face of exponential population growth and a changing climate.

ScienceVision has organized three agrigenomic roadshows at three different sites starting from UNIMAS, Sarawak, Malaysia Genome Institute, Selangor and Malaysia Cocoa Board, Sabah. This seminar provided agriculture researchers across Malaysia with the latest updates, challenges and solutions in agrigenomic technologies. We were pleased to have invited Evgeny Glazov from Illumina to talk about agrigenomic and Ms Yong Wai Shin from BioEASY to talk about data analysis. In addition, we released a grant submission competition.
