We have participated in the 4th International Plant Breeding Conference 2018 with the theme- Accelerating Synergies in Plant Breeding, Genetics and Biotechnology. This was a 3 day conference aimed to address the latest advances in various plant breeding activities and its achievements.

Plant breeding is an important field of research for improvement of yield and quality of plant production. The achievements of plant breeding have had tremendous on economic and national development. Next Generation Sequencing is a useful tool that would be able to assist plant breeders in their practice of selection and strategies for plant improvement. We were happy to share our knowledge on NGS applications in plant breeding to all the participants and at the same let them experience our iSeq100- Illumina’s smallest and newest sequencer.
