Market Enablement Specialist
Position Summary: This is a unique position that involves a combination of business development and marketing responsibilities. This will enable the company’s talent to have maximized exposure in a business environment in preparation for exciting and rewarding career growth and opportunities. This position is responsible for developing market opportunities in market segments such as applied genomics and clinical genomics. The main tasks include the development of a digital and social media plan and strategies for the specific market segment and the assessment of the market dynamics, understanding customer requirements, and establishing relationships with stakeholders (KOLs, medical facilities, research institutions, government bodies, and internal SV resources) to establish and implement a go-to-market strategy for our territory. Also, the role involves establishing a compelling messaging and positioning for SV products and solutions in these markets, creating awareness, and generating demand
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies for the below:
- product awareness and branding
- e-marketing, digital and social media
- internal company events
- To work on a go-to-market strategy for offerings and internal support requirements for success
- Identify metrics for business analysis and reporting. Solicit and consolidate input from customers and business team to provide in-depth market analysis and insight regarding market trends, needs, issues and opportunities
- Collaborate with business team to drive and implement the business strategy and on external facing communications for product offerings
- Execute tactical promotion plans for key and strategic solutions
- Work with the sales team to coordinate the planning and execution of relevant product launches within the territory, and to plan and execute other marketing communications, events and promotional activities
- Organize and maintain sales leads (telephone, web inquiries, association surveys), make regular outbound contact to existing and prospective customers (via telephone, email etc), gather market intelligence such as new product launches, funding status, initiate and increase their interest of specific product lines
- Regularly communicate key activities with, and solicit guidance from ScienceVision’s leadership
- Makes outbound contact to existing and prospective customers to identify sales opportunities, promote relevant marketing/sales promotional programs
- To gather and create marketing materials, product literature as needed for equipment sales or any other related materials as needed by Field Sales Team

Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Genetics or related field. Candidate who is interested in marketing or has experience in marketing/sales will be added advantage
- Good knowledge in Genomics field. Experience in Microarray & Next Generation Sequencing is an added advantage.
- Confident and outgoing
- Well organized and self-motivated
- Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines

Genomics Business Associate
Position Summary: This role is directly responsible for the sales and promotion of the Company’s products and to be specialized and familiarized with our product lines. This role requires building and maintaining strong customer relationships, developing account management strategies, and expansion of new or existing businesses. He/she is required to work closely with other departments such as technical support, marketing, and product segment manager to deliver solutions that meet the customers’ satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Territory coverage weekly planning, execution and report (monthly outstation coverage)
- To engage actively with customer to understand their needs and problems
- To conduct account mapping and updating customer profile for territory development
- Responsible for the basic sales operations workflow such as issuing quotation, monitoring the status of P.O, D.O and following up the payment etc
- Responsible for the Marketing event – Pre, During and Post event activities such as introducing the new technology platforms and products to the market
- To consistently update the case opportunities in Bitrix and engage in accurate forecasting
- To assist in the delivery of the customer samples to the service provider site if needed
- To participate and prepare for the tender documents.

Qualifications:

- Good knowledge in Genomics field. Experience in Microarray & Next Generation Sequencing is an added advantage
- Required skill(s): Excellent interpersonal skills, communicate well in English & BM, aggressive & resourceful, self -driven, result orientated and able to work independently
- With positive attitude, highly adaptable and independent.

Genomics Application Specialist
Position Summary: As a Genomics Application Specialist, you will provide applications support including instrument installations, system validation, customer training, evaluation monitoring, routine customer follow-up, on-site troubleshooting, product demonstrations, and other pre-and post-sale technical consult in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Communicate the effectiveness of latest genomics trends and to implement new applications
- Prepare and present compelling customer facing presentations and participate in all commercial activities and assist with general customer demonstrations, training, and support
- Coordinating new installations, including facility inspections, instrument validation, and customer training
- Troubleshooting issues related to molecular biology, user’s technical skills, assay design, software and instruments
- Identify and collaborate with key customers to enable the development of key applications and to generate scientific publications where necessary
- Internal collaboration in defining application workflows for the latest genomics applications
- Develop an application roadmap for NGS applications, including development of strategies that maximize adoption of these applications
- Serve as an effective bridge between customers and Sales team
Qualifications:
- Master or PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Medicine, or other equivalent
- Strong knowledge in molecular biology, good laboratory practices and some knowledge in clinical/medical related fields
- Experience in genetics/genomics related applications and instrument handling such as sequencing, expression, genotyping and others for a minimum of 3-5 years
- Possess prior field support experience such as project management, training, troubleshooting, and customer service would be an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to lead, prioritize and handle multi tasks and projects simultaneously
- Problem solving ability and strong communicator with excellent communication, presentation skills and responsive
- Ability to work cohesively and develop internal relationships with fellow associates and cross functional teams
- Demonstrates high levels of computer skills including presentation, data management, and Microsoft applications
- Prior experience in NGS related data management and analysis would be an advantage

Genomics Informatics Specialist
Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and high-performing Bioinformatician to join our Bioinformatics team. You will be responsible for defining, creating, developing, implementing, and unit-testing these methods for the new algorithm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing and supporting the customer in data analysis of next-generation sequencing data, for example, genome assembly, annotation, validation and interpret the assembly results.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bioinformatics data analysis, customized bioinformatics script writing and analysis
- Develop, manage, and document genome sequencing data analysis pipelines
- Create and maintain databases of genomic information
- Contribute to designing, implementing, and reporting of NGS/microarray output
- Provide consultation for genomics project, data management and data analysis discussion, and presentations
- Provide user training and technical support
- Assist in clarify and gather customer’s requirement, identify needs, and oversee solution delivery at customer site
- Other duties/tasks as assigned based on business need
Qualifications
- Masters or PhD’s Degree in Bioinformatics, Medical Science, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or other related Life Science Field with experienced in NGS/microarray data
- Strong understanding of molecular biology concepts relevant to Mendelian genetics, genomics, and transcriptomics
- Experience in bioinformatics and familiar with genome data
- Experience in working with Unix Environment and proficient in programming with emphasis on developing workflows to handle, analyse, visualize, and generate reports on large datasets
- Experience with analysing large data sets (Python, R, mapping tools, public genomic databases)
- Experience in project management
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to translate between scientifically rigorous statistical analysis and a general audience, in both directions
- Good written and verbal communication in English and Malay (Mandarin is a plus)
- Demonstrated active listening, good presentation, and training skills
- Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, and collaborative environment
- Possesses own transport and willing to travel if required

Logistics & Operations Executive
Position Summary: This position has a broad range of responsibilities concerning purchasing, logistics, and administration within an organization. The job description of a Logistics and Operations Executive is to improve the operations of a company so that is more effective, efficient, and compliant with laws and industry regulations. To review and improve every aspect of the Company’s operations, one of the best ways to ramp up your learning is by involving everything and starting from Administrative & Logistics duties.
Responsibilities
- To prepare for general administrative documents such as SVPO, Indent records, Invoice, Delivery .Order (DO)., MDO, letters, tender documents and others
- Coordinating with shipping agents for import and export shipments, including delivery, customs clearance processes, shipping’s rules & regulations.
- To review and compare transportation costs from different vendors, ensure that the outgoing shipment is accurate and well packaged, track shipments and ensure delivery.
- To pack and unpack the products / shipments upon receipt and delivery as and when needed
- To plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics or purchasing systems or processes.
- To manage and monitor the performance of freight forwarders, courier agents and suppliers, including to resolve any issues that arise
- Responsible to review, interpret, evaluate and suggest recommendations on the delivery, shipping terms and conditions and other relevant service providers / suppliers.
- To handle the logistics operational activities such as receiving, storing and handling the company shipments.
- To monitor the data logger system closely in order to ensure the Temperature & Relative humidity (RH) recorded in controlled areas are maintained properly.
- To issue the Purchase Order and follow up the delivery timelines with the supplier / service provider closely.
- To maintain inventory and office supplies. Anticipate office needs; evaluate new office products; place and often expedite orders when necessary.

Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Studies / Administration / Management or equivalent.

- High attention to details, efficiency, organize, planning and problem solving skills are compulsory for this position.
