Technical Sales Specialist

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Development of a territory and account-specific sales plan
  • Presentations on Next Generation Sequencing and Microarray products and their capabilities
  • Demonstrate role and relevance of ScienceVision’s product portfolio and provide consultation to customers
  • Demonstrate command of scientific knowledge to engage in collaborative sales
  • Actively engage in cross-functionally discussion to appropriately address the needs of customer base
  • Engage customers in complex sales environment
  • Engage in accurate forecasting
  • Effectively prospect and generate new customer leads
  • Manage new and existing customer base
  • Develop and maintain strong customer connections at various levels in the organization

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or Master degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology or related field
  • Must have good knowledge in Genomics field. Experience in Microarray & Next Generation Sequencing is an added advantage
  • Required skill(s): Excellent interpersonal skills, communicate well in English & BM, aggressive & resourceful, self-drive, result orientated and able to work independently
  • Highly adaptable and independent
  • Strong desire to win business and establish long-term customer relationships
  • Must be wiling to travel outstation
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Possess a valid driving license and own vehicles
