Human Genome Meeting, a key annual conference organized by the Human Genome Organization (HUGO), has taken place in Kuala Lumpur this year. The theme for this year was “Transforming Human Genomics for a Sustainable Tomorrow”. Illumina’s goal to apply innovative technologies to the analysis of genetic variation and function is making studies possible that were not even imaginable just a few years ago. With the achievement of the $1,000 genome, we are now beginning to unlock the power of genome for a healthcare revolution.
